BC Adjustable Suspension ZR 3 WAY Adjust NISSAN 200SX SILVIA S14
BC Racing's new ZR Series Coilovers bring a 3-way adjustable track ready coilover system to racers from novice to pro for an affordable price that has never been seen in the industry.
Each ZR Series Coilover system offers independent low speed/high speed compression adjustments and separate rebound adjustment. They also offer full height adjustability independent of piston travel and spring preload. On cars with McPherson struts the ZR Series comes standard with an inverted mono-tube damper with the steel braided Teflon coated line exiting the top of the damper to the external reservoirs that can be remotely mounted on the chassis for easy adjustment.
Cars with double A-arm suspension come with upright dampers with steel braided Teflon coated lines or solid stem that exit the damper at the bottom and lead to the external reservoir that can be mounted under the chassis or on the shock body itself.
- Mono-tube damper with 3 way adjustable damping
- Inverted damper design (depending on models)
- 30 clicks of rebound adjustment
- 12 clicks of high speed compression adjustment
- 15 clicks of low speed compression adjustment
- height adjustment via shock body - not spring
- 1 year limited warranty against manufacturer defects
- fully rebuildable with all parts available for purchase
BC RACING ZR SERIES FEATURES
Mono-tube inverted dampers (Cars with McPherson struts only):
Reduced Damper Flex
The BC Racing ZR Coilovers use large 42mm inverted monotube dampers. This inverted style allows both the inner and outer tubes to take all of the side loads encountered when cornering. This reduced flex of the BC Racing ZR series gives a more predictable steering feel and improved responsive handling. It also improves the life of the BC Racing damper seals.
Reduced unsprung weight
The mono-tube inverted damper design on the BC Racing ZR series coilovers has a number of advantages, including reducing unsprung weight by moving the oil and gas reservoir way from the hub and attaching it to the shell.
Reduced heat transfer
Also by inverting the coilover damper the oil and gas is moved away from the hub assembly. This means that less heat is transferred to the oil under braking which makes for more consistent damping.
External Reservoirs
These BC Racing ZR series coilovers The external reservoirs hold much more oil than conventional coilovers, allowing the unit to operate for much longer before overheating.
3-way adjustable Damping - Separate Rebound and High / Low Speed Compression Adjustment
The external reservoirs also house a secondary piston, which allows for separate adjustment of rebound and high / low speed compression damping. Rebound damping is adjusted on the top of shock and compression damping is adjusted on the external reservoir.
